棉二村是广东省梅州市平远县大柘镇辖下的行政村，位于大柘镇的坝头片。据博雅地名网所载（未注明年份），村内分5个村民小组，登记179户、778人，土地总面积6.55平方千米，耕地628.2亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：传说此地早年引种棉花收成好，称棉坑里；村前另有一处棉坑里，20世纪50年代这一带统称棉二，辖今田兴、棉羊、杉坑、大塘山等处。村尾筑有大塘，俗称大塘山。[1]
建制沿革，由近及远：1999年4月起称村民委员会至今；1989年11月称棉二管理区；七十年代又分出杉坑大队；六十年代分出棉羊和田兴两个大队；1949年称棉二乡。[1]
经济[edit]
村里把扶贫单位拨来的扶持资金投入企业，按股分红。[1]
荣誉：2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
