大岭街道在广东省惠州市惠东县的西北部，隔河与县城所在的平山街道相望，辖区面积160.23平方千米。这里原是大岭镇，2018年12月撤镇设街道办事处，办事处仍设在惠东大道163号。下辖7个社区和12个行政村。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，这里1950年冬隶属惠阳县第十一区，1958年建平山人民公社；惠东县1965年从惠阳县分出，此地随之归属惠东。1983年起设平山区，1987年区撤销，改建大岭镇。[2][3]2018年12月，惠东县大岭镇撤销，设立大岭街道办事处，范围沿用原镇的行政区域，驻地不变。[2][3]
按惠东府函〔2020〕562号文，原大岭社区在2020年10月29日分设富祥、沙梨园、东兴等社区，新安社区又分设新源、新联两个社区，街道的社区由此增至7个。[4][5]
地理环境[edit]
百度百科称，街道东邻多祝镇，南接白花镇，西与惠阳区平潭镇交界，北与梁化镇相连。[1]博雅地名网收录的旧镇资料说，它紧邻县城，到惠州机场约8公里，到惠州港约35公里；广汕、深汕两条公路都经过镇内，西支江从镇中纵贯而过。[3]
人口[edit]
2020年第七次全国人口普查，街道常住人口16.06万人，在惠东县各镇街中居第2位。[2]百度百科则写道，2020年6月前后，街道的总人口近20万人，里面户籍人口为6.5万人。[1]两处口径不同，故并列写出。
经济[edit]
百度百科载有2018年的数字：街道生产总值为107.41亿元，比上年增加2.5%。[1]旧镇资料称，镇内工业门类有建材、纺织、制衣等，农业以水稻、花生、蔬菜为主；广东省在1988年把它定为重点工业卫星镇。[3]街道在2020年、2021年和2022年连续上榜淘宝镇名单，辖内的洪湖村、万松村也先后列入淘宝村。[2][6][7]
名胜古迹[edit]
博雅地名网所载旧镇资料写到：东南有九龙峰，并有明末所建的谭公祖庙；东北有一处省级古田自然保护区；东面另有飞鹅庵，据称建于1485年。[3]维基百科则记飞鹅庵位于惠东县城的飞鹅中学内，是2000年公布的县级文物保护单位，年代为清嘉庆，与上述建庙年份不一致。[8]
