西河村是广东省梅州市平远县大柘镇辖下的行政村，位于大柘镇的超竹片。据博雅地名网所载（未注明年份），村内分5个村民小组，登记392户、1416人，土地总面积4.82平方千米，耕地749亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：村子在长坑径河的西岸，河以东、以西各为一片，西边的叫西河。[1]
建制沿革，由近及远：1999年4月起称村民委员会至今；1989年设西河管理区；1987年设西河村民委员会；1983年设西河小乡；六十年代分出，成立西河大队（管理区）；20世纪50年代归丰光大队辖；1949年称西河乡。[1]
经济[edit]
荣誉：2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；广东省爱国卫生运动委员会在2017年10月把它列入「第一批广东省卫生村」。[1]
