坝头村是广东省梅州市平远县大柘镇辖下的行政村，位于大柘镇的坝头片。据博雅地名网所载（未注明年份），村内分13个村民小组，登记696户、2734人，土地总面积7.56平方千米，耕地1092亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：东石河与河头河在此汇合，形成三角地带，坝头之名由此而来。[1]
建制沿革，由近及远：2004年12月，坝头镇并入大柘镇，村随之归大柘镇管辖；1999年称坝头村民委员会；1989年称坝头管理区；1987年称坝头村民委员会；1983年称坝头（小）乡；1958年称坝头大队；1949年称坝头乡。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物有金柚、花生和大蒜。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
坝头奎文阁原是文昌祠，清代所建，仿楼阁式砖室塔，原为五层，八角形平面，内有螺旋石阶，今存三层、高18米；2020年6月动工修复，2021年12月6日列入第八批梅州市文物保护单位。[2]
