乌石村隶属广东省广州市从化区鳌头镇，为镇辖行政村，村委会设在镇域西部。[1] 全村面积约12平方公里，村民小组共13个，村委会介绍的总人口为2373人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约30公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约10公里。[1]

  • 2024年11月，乌石村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
  • 2026年1月，乌石村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]

经济[edit]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]

乌石村是鳌头万亩良田示范项目涉及的8个行政村之一。该项目属全域土地综合整治试点示范，规划核心范围1.3万亩，沿潖江（二）河流域展开，已推进约6600亩农田的集中连片整治和河道防洪排涝整治。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的护龙神庙、接福楼，共2处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[3]
