蒲洞村是四会市下茆镇的行政村，辖区下设11个村民小组，登记人口845人，土地约2.8平方公里（博雅地名网所载）[1]。
地名由来[edit]
相传古代一批林姓人家从福建莆田迁来，在山洞一带建村，为不忘祖籍莆田，改称蒲洞[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的龟石桥又名万安桥，始建于清光绪十六年（1890年），长20.7米、宽1.7米，被市文化部门列为重点保护建筑[1]。
经济[edit]
村民种水稻、柑桔，并与温氏公司合办5个三鸟养殖场，年出栏约60万只[1]。蒲洞大队始于1958年，1987年改设管理区，1998年设村民委员会[1]。
