历史沿革[edit]
村名取「像东方升起的红太阳」之意。[1]1954年改作红太阳农业社，1983年改作红太阳乡，1987年改作红太阳村委会，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村分为15个村民小组，居民合计1680人，山多田少；近年引进数家木材加工厂，山上种竹木、沙糖桔和速生林。[1]2026年1月，红太阳村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
