新安村是东涌镇的行政村，辖两个自然村，总人口5431人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初属新安乡，隶东冲区；公社化时期成立新安大队；1989年设新安管理区；1999年成立新安村委会。[1]

经济与建设[edit]

村民以种植为主，种水稻、番薯、香蕉和花生。村里先后集资200多万元，新建流口、青龙头两所全日制小学，在校学生400多人；又筹150万元修了6公里水泥径道，并建成3000平方米的流口公园。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，省农业农村厅公布首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，该村以木瓜入选；2023年5月获2022年度省卫生村称号。[1]
