新安村沿万环西路分布，在洪奇沥东岸，现有土地约5000亩，耕地约4050亩，北起八涌半，南到十四涌半。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1800年至1850年间，村民围海造田，所在称沙头片，以后形成泰兴、裕兴、庆生、陈家、崔家5个围。[1]
新安乡成立于1949年，1955年之前新安、年丰、福安三地合称新安乡，1957年分为三个。同年公社化，改称新安大队；1959年起属番禺县；1984年成乡，1987年成立村民委员会（另有说法为1988年成立行政村）。2005年10月，新安村改属南沙区。[1]
村名取「农民获得新生，安居乐业」之意。[1]
人口[edit]
辖区面积6000亩；2008年户籍人口2790人，共690户。[1]
2024年11月，获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定。[1]
