海头村是广东省阳江市阳东区大沟镇下辖的行政村。1949年海头设乡，1962年改设大队，1963年设为乡级的海头人民政府，1983年转为管理区，1999年起设海头村委会。村内新屋村一带有三处文物，见下文。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
新屋村东北约500米的镇海山山顶有镇海山摩崖石刻，为明代遗存。海朗守御所遗址位于镇海山上，东北距新屋村约400米，也属明代。第一山观音阁在新屋村第一山南侧，建于明至清时期。三处都在阳江市第三批文物保护单位之列。[1]
