田心村在平远县河头镇中部，面积8.9平方千米，下设8个村民小组，有327户、1265人。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子原叫黄竹坝，因过去遍地长着黄竹。明代初年，张氏连春公来此建居，在周围开出大片农田，村名改作田心。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年设田心乡，1958年为大队，1983年设乡，此后行政体制几经调整：1987年起设村民委员会，一度改称管理区（1989年），到1999年重用田心村民委员会之名，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地1210亩，种杂优制种、甜玉米和烤烟。该村曾是省级贫困村，借帮扶单位的支持筹资30万元，入股盈利企业分红，以壮大集体收入；上一年农村经济总收入756万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，田心村名列省2018年度“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位；2026年1月，成为广东省“百千万工程”第二批典型村。[1]
