龙田村隶属广东省广州市从化区鳌头镇，为镇辖行政村，村委会设在镇域北部。[1] 全村面积约4平方公里，村民小组共23个，村委会介绍的总人口为2467人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约17公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约13公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立龙田大队，到1983年12月改设为龙田乡，到1987年1月改名龙田村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

村名取自驻地龙田里。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，龙田村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2022年10月，龙田村被认定为「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」（广东省农业农村厅）。[1]
  • 2024年11月，龙田村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]

龙田村种植夏威夷果，在2022年10月被广东省农业农村厅认定为「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的东华里门楼、龙田里传统民居群、龙田里门楼、稔塘村门楼、下田寮版筑别墅，共5处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
