历史沿革[edit]
清乾隆十九年（1754年），村人周国熙殿试中进士，据载奉旨将“塔岗”改称塔镇，1921年复称塔岗。民国时属荷塘乡；1951年称建民乡，次年改称塔岗乡，1958年为塔岗管理区；1984年称塔岗乡，1987年起称塔岗村委会；1988年复称管理区，1999年又称村委会；2002年随荷塘镇划归蓬江区。[1]
经济[edit]
可耕地3100亩；2009年全村工农业总产值约2亿元，村民人均纯收入约7500元。村内塔岗市场占地19000多平方米，集商业和农贸于一体。[2]2023年5月获2022年广东省卫生村称号；2026年3月入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
