历史沿革[edit]
1983年人民公社制度撤销，龙田大队改称龙田乡，属坪山区；坑梓于1986年从坪山分出建镇，龙田改设村民委员会。[1]深圳在2004年9月对特区外的龙岗、宝安两区推行城市化改革，坑梓撤镇设街道，龙田的村委会也随之改为社区居委会。[1]2016年起社区划归新设的龙田街道。[3]
人口民族[edit]
社区常住加流动的人口约3.5万，户籍居民只占一小部分：585户共2198人，其余约3.3万人为外来流动人口。[1]
文化[edit]
社区设11个居民小组：大水湾、田段心、石陂头、牛背、牛湖、吓田、龙湖、新屋、大窝、大塘、下陂。[4]社区有龙田文化广场和图书馆，大水湾老人表演队、大水湾麒麟、吓田姑嫂联谊互助会等在文化广场开展活动。[4]2022年3月被深圳市住房和建设局认定为第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区；2024年1月，又被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
