西坑社区是海丰县公平镇的社区，在县城以北约25公里，海紫公路从辖区通过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年6月设海丰建政二区西坑乡，接着1955年并入平北乡，随后1958年办国营西坑林场，场部驻西坑，再后来1964年属县西坑林场。1994年（另一处写1996年10月18日）设西坑乡，以林场居民和职工家属为对象设居委会，此后2004年改称西坑社区。2004年底西坑乡撤销，社区随之归公平镇，博雅地名网的历史栏写作2005年。[1]

社区居委会设在庵前村西坑林场旁，居民住在林场场部和庵前村，约260多户、590多人，多靠外出经商务工谋生。[1]

经济[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
