龙泉村是新会区睦洲镇东南部的行政村，西邻古井镇南朗村，南与珠海市斗门区莲洲镇接壤，劳龙虎水道流经村前，现设5个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清康熙九年（1670年），刘姓族人从大泽迁来定居，随后高姓迁入；到乾隆年间，刘、高、张、李、吴、林、谭、杨等姓杂居，发展成片村落。清康熙年间的县志已载龙泉之名。[1]民国时设龙泉乡；1958年成立龙泉管理区，辖万成、西坑、东成、西和、东和等大队，到1965年整合成一个龙泉大队，分17个生产队。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村北有龙山，泉水淙淙，地形像卧龙饮水，故名。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网，村里有常住人口4760人，耕地5562亩，其中水稻3202亩、鱼塘2242亩、作物地118亩。农业以水稻为主，养殖以南美白对虾为主。[1]2005年，睦洲马崇康大桥建成通车，村子往北通会城、江门，往南接珠海，交通更便利。[1]该村出产“葵乡牌黑糯米酒”，据称2004年在首届华南酒饮品交易会上获金奖。[1]
荣誉[edit]
龙泉村在2019年9月上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2021年12月被授予「广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
