历史沿革[edit]
1974年平岗大队村庄和人口都多，管理不便，分出三个大队，新乌石等六个自然村合成平岗第三大队，称平三大队，接着1987年改村委会，随后1989年改管理区，再后来1998年复设村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖顶厝、喜鹊巢、下陂、顶石、新乌石、老乌石六个自然村，村委会设在通往下陂的路口。[1]
人口民族[edit]
约320户、1880多人，耕地1280多亩，山地545亩。[1]
经济[edit]
种水稻、番薯、花生，不少村民进镇区做服装、纺织等行业。2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
