历史沿革[edit]
1971年设公平公社西山大队，接着1987年改村委会，随后1989年改管理区，再后来1998年复设村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖李厝村、阮厝村、庵东村、塘面村、塘背村、中心村六个自然村，村委会设在中心村，沿海紫公路西北侧呈块状分布。[1]
人口民族[edit]
总人口1630多人，耕地近680亩，山地450亩。[1]
经济[edit]
种稻谷、甘蔗、花生和大豆。2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
