历史沿革[edit]
1950年属二区西坑乡，接着1958年设下洞管理区，隶国营西坑林场，随后1964年属县西坑林场，再后来1987年改村委会，此后1989年改管理区，接着1994年属西坑乡，随后1998年复设村民委员会，再后来2005年属公平镇。[1]
人口民族[edit]
207户，1180多人，耕地420多亩，村委会设在坡角楼自然村。[1]
经济[edit]
种水稻、花生、番薯，盛产柑桔，多数村民外出经商务工。2020年12月获「2020年广东省卫生村」称号，2026年1月被评为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[1]
