历史沿革[edit]
1989年设西坑居委会，原归天河区登峰街；2005年起改由越秀区登峰街道管理，名称依旧。[1]
旧村改造[edit]
越秀区政府2024年的报道提到，西坑村列入「拆治兴」旧村改造，改造思路定为「公益征收＋异地配建」，方案仍在完善。[3]
荣誉[edit]
社区在2019年9月公布的名单里，列为2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2024年11月入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
