历史沿革[edit]
1950年属二区高北乡，接着1953年属公平区高北乡，随后1958年从高北大队析出部分村庄划入西坑林场，设高北管理区，再后来1959年改高北大队。1987年称乌石村委会，此后1988年改高联村委会，接着1989年改管理区，随后1998年复设村民委员会，再后来2005年撤乡并镇划入公平镇。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖背头湖、坑口、新乡、乌石、秋溪、黄麻田、湖洋排、上山寮八个自然村，有7公里村级水泥路接海紫公路。林木以红椎和广宁竹为多，风围山的红椎林是海丰保存最好的，约200多亩，胸径30厘米以上。[1]
人口民族[edit]
总人口860多人，耕地约380亩。[1]
经济[edit]
种水稻、花生、番薯，盛产香蕉。2020年8月以白茶入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
