历史沿革[edit]
1950年属二区平西乡，接着1952年设二区高北乡，随后1953年属公平区，再后来1958年为公平公社高北大队。1984年称高北乡，此后1987年改村委会，接着1989年改管理区，随后1998年复设村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖塘尾村、楼下村、坑仔尾村、高沙村、营盘新村、营盘村、粗石坑七个自然村，村委会设高沙，沿山麓向西北呈块状分布。[1]
人口民族[edit]
总人口近1500人，耕地1720亩，山坡地8800亩。[1]
经济[edit]
种水稻等粮食，兼营林业，广种杉、松。2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
