新丰村是五华县转水镇的行政村，因益塘水库建设移民，由阁公堂、廖坑、笃尾塘三处聚成，1979年独立设管理区。[1][2][3]

地名与沿革[edit]

修建益塘水库时，潭下公社郑塘大队的一些居民点迁入转水公社的益塘大队，其中阁公堂、廖坑、笃尾塘三处聚在一起组成新村，盼望年年丰收，因称新丰。[2] 1979年，三处经县政府批准独立设新丰管理区；1984年8月撤乡置镇，管理区改为新丰村委会。[3]

概况与荣誉[edit]

村分5个村民小组，在册147户、799人，总面积2.4平方千米，耕地397亩，种水稻。[1] 2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
