地名与沿革[edit]
村由原来的黄沙村和梅子村合并而成，各取一字得名。[2] 新中国成立之初称黄梅乡，1958年公社化时设黄梅大队，1983年政社分设，改为乡政府，1989年起称黄梅管理区，1999年再改设黄梅村委会。[3]
概况与荣誉[edit]
全村25个村民小组，在册494户、2673人，总面积10平方千米，耕地1386亩，经济作物以山林果木为主，上一年农村经济总收入950万元。[1] 2019年9月，村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，2023年2月又获2022年度五华县文明村镇称号。[1]
