新丰村是长岗镇中北部的行政村，与罗董镇接壤，面积约17.98平方千米，下设12个村民小组，总人口2011人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。距县城13公里，距镇政府5公里；只有一条过境公路，位置偏远。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取新的丰收之意。解放初建乡政府时即称新丰乡，1956年成立的农业社也叫新丰，1958年公社化时设新丰大队，1983年设乡政府，1987年起称村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
以水稻、果树和养殖为主。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
