地名与沿革[edit]
村里有两口很大的天然池塘，鲤鱼多，起名鲤子塘；「鲤」「里」同音，写作里塘。[2] 村情材料称，约六百年前，陈王公第八代后人明隽、明德兄弟从旱塘村迁来定居。[3] 1949年以前，此地归长乐县第二区；当年10月1日起划入五华县第四区；1953年之后隶龙岭乡；1958年成为转水公社三塘大队的一部分；1982年以后是三塘管理区所辖；1999年起自设里塘村民委员会。[3]
概况与荣誉[edit]
全村11个村民小组，在册256户、1231人，总面积0.95平方千米，耕地735亩；种水稻，上一年农村经济总收入800万元。[1] 2023年1月，司法部与民政部将里塘村命名为「第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
