地名与沿革[edit]
相传古时这里有两部水车，比别处的小，故称矮车。[2] 新中国成立之初称矮车乡，1958年公社化时设矮车大队，1983年政社分设，改为乡政府，1989年起称矮车管理区，1999年再改设矮车村民委员会。[3]
概况与荣誉[edit]
村分22个村民小组，在册890户、4803人，总面积5平方千米，耕地2454亩，种水稻，烤烟是特色收入。[1] 2017年10月获第一批广东省卫生村称号，2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
