地名与沿革[edit]
村名寓意新中国成立后与国家一同有新气象。[2] 新中国成立之初称新华乡，1958年公社化时设新华大队，1983年政社分设，改为乡政府，1989年起称新华管理区，1999年再改设新华村委会。[3]

村分47个村民小组，在册1020户、4960人，总面积3.3平方千米，耕地2040亩，种水稻，上一年农村经济总收入2216万元。[1]
