历史沿革[edit]
合作化时期，新圩乡办的第一个农业合作社叫“新峰农业合作社”，取先锋之意，后来写成“新丰”，村名由此而来。1999年成立新丰村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
大塘世居在新丰村塘口村民小组，又称大塘围，是客家围屋。清道光十一年（1831年）由曾传创带着儿子曾纪全、曾纪明动工，用了四年建成；占地约1.8万平方米，马蹄形布局，现存房屋200多间，盛时住过600多族人。外墙用泥沙、石灰和石块夯筑，有木雕、石雕和彩绘装饰。2010年7月被惠阳区公布为第一批文物保护单位，2013年1月由族人集资重修。抗战期间，东江纵队的曾生曾多次把司令部放在围屋里。[2]

2022年入选淘宝村名单；2021年获广东省卫生村称号。[1]
