田心村在双水镇西部，四周是农田和鱼塘，村子建在田野中间，所以叫田心；由新田心、旧田心两个自然村组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明正统八年（1443年），林姓先祖从今罗坑镇石咀来这里搭寮养鸭，围海造田，之后立村。[1] 清康熙县志已有田心村，属泷水都一图。[1] 民国时属第七区九联乡，1951年立田心乡；1959年到1982年间，村子先后隶属南岸大队、银湖大队，后恢复田心大队之名，1984年2月，田心与蓢头村的旧田心队并为田心乡，1987年起改称村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村里有360户，常住人口1027人，水稻田1028亩，鱼塘249亩；两条河环绕村子，内堤全长2公里，灌排较方便。[1] 田心的牛肉、腊味当地知名，自2017年起村里每年办牛肉节暨腊味美食文化节，2018年12月第二届开幕当天游客逾万人次。[2] 2023年5月，旧田心村获广东省爱卫会授予2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
