顾屋村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，距广州市区约60公里，南与东莞隔河相望，增江水从村边流过。[1]
村民多姓顾，村名由此而来。村里的说法是，约860年前的南宋时期，先祖从福建迁来，走的是水路，太公安葬在小楼的先锋山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村民的先祖在南宋嘉熙年间（1240年）从福建来到此处，以设教、行医为业。此后1958年编入石滩公社，1961年称顾屋大队，1987年起设顾屋村民委员会。[1]
人口与风俗[edit]
据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，村辖田心、新墟、下桥3个自然村，430户、1780人，多数务农，少数从事养殖，村里产的大米在石滩一带有些名气。每年农历五月初五，村里举办龙舟节。[1]
