上塘村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，位于石滩镇东南部，距增城城区17公里，距石滩镇区3公里，有上围和塘面2个自然村。^[1]

名称取村内两个最大的自然村“上围村”“塘面村”各一字。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

上塘唐代开村，因村前河（坑滘）里石头多，起初叫石沥滘；明代分为上坊、下坊两村，1949年后改叫上围、下围。三江公社分出后设上塘大队，1987年设上塘村民委员会。^[1]

1994年沙庄脱离三江独立成街道，上塘跟着划归沙庄；十年后沙庄街道又并入石滩镇。^[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，村设14个合作社，户籍人口2870人，郭、单、陈为主要姓氏。广深铁路从村东经过，村内有一处铁路货场；工业方面有摩托车制造、化工、塑料、五金、大米加工等。^[1]

2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，2025年6月，又被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。^[1]
