石湖村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，位于石滩镇西北部，荔新公路从村南经过，西福河穿村而过，辖田心、铁埔、土地吓、沙井、肖元、沈元6个自然村。^[1]

名称的说法是：村对岸是沙埔地，圩上有一口石砌塘基的大水塘，古人叫它石湖。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

石湖村早年不属石滩：1958年人民公社时属仙村公社，1987年撤乡改村后属仙村镇；2004年仙村镇除吓岗外并入新塘，石湖改属新塘镇；2012年新塘拆分，分出仙村镇和永宁街道，石湖才改属石滩镇。^[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，全村19个合作社，1030户、约3860人，曹、沈、肖为主要姓氏。^[1]

云阁塔在石湖村的田心自然村，广州市人民政府于2015年8月19日将它公布为「第八批广州市文物保护单位」。^[1]

石湖村在2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」。^[1]
