溪头村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，在石滩镇东部，挨着元美工业区和江龙工业基地，荔三公路与广惠高速公路都在近旁。^[1]

地处县江一条小溪的源头，故名溪头。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

溪头建村于明代。合作化时与田桥共办西丰高级社；三江公社分出后设溪头大队；1987年设村民委员会，属三江镇，2004年划入石滩镇。^[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，村里常住人口1549人，有刘、黄、冯三个姓氏，分大灯、上灯、磨吓、横吓、黄屋、大埗头、西水7个自然村、16个生产合作社，有八百亩蔬菜种植基地。^[1]

溪头村在「第二批国家森林乡村」名单之列，名单由国家林业和草原局于2019年12月公布。^[1]
