麻车村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，位于石滩镇北部，只有一个自然村，面积20.7平方千米，是增城区最大的行政村。^[1]^[2]

村民以刘姓为主。百度百科记载村始建于南宋开庆元年（1259年）；村内有刘氏宗祠，另有“舞火狗”（又称“麻车夜色”）这一流传600多年的民俗。^[1]^[2]

地名的来历是：村民从北方南迁，来到一处旧称“麻车地”的地方，古时这里的麻纺织业兴盛，村子就以此为名。^[1]

合作化时期麻车与横岭曾合为一个社；1958年属石滩公社第2营，1983年改乡，1987年改设麻车村民委员会。^[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，村分20个合作社，总人口9646人；广惠高速公路由东西向、北三环高速公路由南北向穿过村境。^[1]

百度百科记载，村里以荔枝种植和酱菜加工见长，增城百荔园荔枝产业联盟成立于2022年，广汽本田研发中心则在2009年落户该村。^[2]

麻车村刘氏宗祠为明清古建筑，2008年12月被公布为「第七批广州市文物保护单位」。^[3]^[2]

“舞火狗”民俗又称“麻车夜色”，石滩镇政府介绍它已有600多年历史。^[4]
