塘口村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，在石滩镇东北部的初溪水利枢纽附近，西靠增江河，东靠荔三公路。^[1]

地名的来历是：宋初东莞唐姓人家迁来，取“唐”的谐音叫塘口，后来刘氏迁入仍用旧名。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

塘口在合作化时自成一社；三江公社分出后设塘口大队，1987年设村民委员会，属三江镇，2004年随三江并入石滩镇。^[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，村户籍人口约1700人，粮食、蔬菜和鱼塘养殖面积各约500亩；村里利用增江河冲积出的一块约100多亩土地种荔枝和龙眼，在初溪水利枢纽旁还开有河鲜酒店。^[1]

石滩镇政府的介绍把塘口水松列为镇内有文化底蕴的古树名木之一。^[2]

2019年9月，塘口村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。^[1]
