谢屋村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，在石滩镇西北部，有旧谢、新谢2个自然村；东边是增塘水库，西边靠荔新公路。^[1]

谢氏聚居于此，村民委员会又设在谢屋村，所以叫谢屋。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年成立高级社时，新屋和旧屋两村都姓谢，故取名谢屋农业合作社；人民公社化时与沈元编为第8营，1961年称谢屋大队，1987年起设谢屋村委会。^[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，全村7个合作社，342户、约1500人，村民以种植蔬菜为主，同时发展养殖；2010年3月建成污水处理厂。^[1]

2019年9月上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。^[1]
