仙塘村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，位于石滩镇新城区的中心，东靠增江河，南邻顾屋村，西到横岭村，北接塘头村，增滩路、南北大道和东西大道都从村里通过。^[1]

村名的说法是：村前有一口塘，形状像仙人的脚印。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

仙塘村在明朝建村，解放前叫汕塘，后改称仙塘。人民公社化时，仙塘同塘头、郑田编入石滩公社第一营，1961年叫仙塘大队。^[1]

1983年改仙塘乡，1987年撤乡改村，设仙塘村民委员会，沿用至今。^[1]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，村域315.56公顷，居民姓张、冯两姓，约243户、1250人，分9个合作社。支柱产业是番薯种植和鱼塘养殖，当地的番薯有“仙塘大番薯”之称；交通便利，也吸引了一些工厂来村里建厂。^[1]

村内建有一座黄大仙院和两座炮楼，据该网页介绍都保存完好。^[1]

广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月把仙塘村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。^[1]
