乌石村在赤坭镇的北部，培正大道旁，面积约3.56平方千米，下辖7个村民小组，约1380人（未注明年份），距镇区约7公里。[1]建村时旁边小山岗上有一块黑色大石，因此叫乌石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村建于1691年。1984年乌石与皇母并为乌石乡，两村在1986年底分设，乌石设村委会；1987年3月起归赤坭镇人民政府管辖。[1]

经济[edit]

村集体出租的物业有五金厂3家、拉链厂和皮革厂各1家、加油站1处、猪场1个，另有鱼塘15亩、苗木场3个。[1]

2019年度广东省卫生村（2019年10月入选名录）；广州市2025年度充分就业社区（村）（2026年1月认定）。[1]
