地名由来[edit]
此处像一个小盆地，客家话把这种地形叫「氹」；常年有河水流过，冲积出黄色的沙滩，因而叫黄沙氹。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清初起名黄沙氹。新中国成立之初属派西乡一村，并入车洞小乡，1958年按驻地称黄沙氹大队；1983年11月改称黄沙氹乡，2004年并进车洞村，到2014年才与车洞村分开，重设黄沙氹村民委员会。[1]
