密石村是广州市增城区派潭镇北部山区的行政村，东邻高滩村，南邻双头村，西邻车洞村，北面是从化区；村情材料称其为解放战争时期的革命老区。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清康熙年间（1666年），黄氏始祖黄潮海从新丰黄角屋迁来建村，村在狮石岭西侧，石多林密，故名密石。新中国成立初期属派北乡第十一村，1958年初期与黄沙氹合并成立林场，1962年拆分设密石大队；1983年改为密石乡，1987年1月改称密石村民委员会。^[1]

村情介绍称，全村111户561人，山林6300亩、水田430亩，6个合作社；特产大红柿，种植面积约1000亩，年产约150吨，地下有石灰石、矿泉水，景点有卧佛山、大石洞等。2020年8月，列入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（柿子）。^[1]

2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建单位（2024年4月入选）；2024年6月，上榜2023年度「广州市美丽乡村」。^[1]
