湴汾村位于广州市增城区派潭镇东部，是湾吓片附近村庄往来和赶集的枢纽。^[1]

地名由来[edit]

明末清初建村，地势低洼，有烂泥湖田，当地叫「湴」，因而得名。^[1]

1958年由湴汾、尹屋、湖田埔、埔可等自然村成立大队，驻湴汾村，叫湴汾大队；1960年湴汾自然村分出，另立湴汾大队；1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月改称湴汾村民委员会。^[1]

村情介绍称，全村约2平方千米，自然村2个、合作社3个，户籍160户910人。2009年借助派潭中学等单位帮扶完成新农村建设，把旧书塾改建为文化室。2019年9月上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[1]
