地名由来[edit]
宋代由邓姓建村；元至正十二年（1352年），林秀贤从石滩镇碧江村迁来。后来林姓人口增多，邓氏迁出，林氏为了怀念邓氏，在莲塘山路下建了一座庙，村名就叫邓路吓。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期为派西乡十六村，1958年成立邓路吓大队；1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月改称邓路吓村民委员会。[1]
概况[edit]
村情介绍称，全村5.86平方千米，自然村4个、合作社8个，438户2239人，鱼塘460亩。2020年8月，列入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（凉粉草）。广东省公安厅警用直升机保障基地位于该村和利迳村境内。[1]
著名人物[edit]
林镜清，曾任邓路吓村党支部书记；任职前自营鱼塘和果场，任书记后着力发展集体经济。[2]
