围园村位于广州市增城区派潭镇东南，处在派潭境内两条河的汇合处。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，邓、张、杨三姓人家迁来定居，因围墙环村而叫围园。新中国成立初期为派东乡三村，1958年两地分开设围园大队，1963年并入高村大队，1970年冬又与高村分开、与莲塘迳合设围园大队；1983年恢复为乡，1987年1月改称围园村民委员会。^[1]

村情介绍称，全村自然村6个、合作社6个，333户1765人，山林2388亩、水田1200亩、旱地300亩；2010年集体经济收入1.5万元，村民年人均收入2800元。村民种冬瓜、凉粉草、粉葛等作物。^[1]
