地名由来[edit]
村在亚婆髻山脚下，日照时间短，故名背阴。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清乾隆年间（1760年），温秉宏由派潭的大埔村迁此立村。新中国成立初期属派北乡第五村，1958年成立背阴大队；1983年改称背阴乡，1987年1月改称背阴村民委员会。[1]
概况[edit]
村情介绍称，全村6平方千米，山林9000亩、水田660亩，自然村9个、合作社10个，266户1183人；山地种有荔枝500亩、龙眼400亩、红柿300亩。2023年8月荣获2022年度「广州市美丽乡村」称号。[1]
