地名由来[edit]
因村所在地势较高，叫「高村」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期为派东乡一村，1958年成立高村大队；1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月改称高村村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
腊田埔自然村北端有腊田埔村熊氏宗祠，为清代古建筑，2002年7月公布为第六批广州市文物保护单位。[1]

村情介绍称，全村自然村9个、合作社12个，471户2344人，山林1512亩、水田956亩。列入广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村（2026年1月）。[1]
