地名由来[edit]
村内有一个自然村叫刘家村，村民多姓刘。1963年6个大队（新留、甘尾等）合并，大队部驻刘家村，称刘家大队，1987年成立村委会时仍用此名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年称三眼塘大队；此后1961年冬拆为6个，1963年再合；1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月改称刘家村委会。[1]
概况[edit]
村情介绍称，全村约5平方千米，自然村20个、合作社23个，900户4046人。村内设有村级老人安居点（住孤寡老人14名）、图书阅览室和篮球场，增从路穿村而过。2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
