地名由来[edit]
村旁有一棵大榕树，故名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清光绪年间（1871至1908年），江姓人家从新丰县半坡村迁来开居。新中国成立初期为派北乡第二村，1958年因在榕树吓临时办公称榕树吓大队；1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月改称榕树吓村民委员会。[1]
概况[edit]
村情介绍称，全村约2.3平方千米，山林5000亩、水田2500亩，自然村7个、合作社11个，250户1042人。广州飞碟训练中心位于该村曾迳冚社。2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」；列入广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村（2026年1月）。[1]
