地名由来[edit]
明成化年间（1465至1487年），七房兄弟按姓氏分门聚居，起名「七景」（景指居住之处），后人改用谐音的「七境」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期属派北乡第七村，1958年成立七境大队；1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月改称七境村民委员会。[1]
概况[edit]
村情介绍称，全村约18平方千米，山林约3万亩、水田约3500亩，21个自然村，950户3500人。2019年9月上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」；2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
