地名由来[edit]
村建在樟树坑边，因而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期属派北乡第八村，1958年成立樟洞坑大队；1983年11月恢复为乡，1987年1月改称樟洞坑村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村水田1407亩，山地1.3万亩，其中荔枝、红柿种植面积6000多亩；荔枝品种以桂味为主，种植历史较长。433户2387人。2020年8月，列入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（荔枝）；2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
